About This Hackathon

Hack the Stack is a fun, fast-paced hackathon where creativity meets APIs. Participants are challenged to build the most innovative application by combining at least three public APIs. Travel aggregator, social analytics tool, smart home dashboard — if it mashups APIs in a clever way, it has a shot at winning.

Prize Breakdown

$3,000 for 1st, $1,800 for 2nd, $800 for 3rd, $400 for most creative mashup

Rules & Guidelines

Must use a minimum of 3 distinct public APIs. No hard-coded API credentials in public repos. Must deploy to a live URL (Vercel, Netlify, Railway, etc.). Source code must be public on GitHub by submission deadline.

Resources Provided

RapidAPI Pro account, $100 Vercel credits per team, Postman Team plan, list of 50 curated APIs with free tiers
