About This Hackathon

GreenCode brings together developers, engineers, and environmentalists to build technology solutions addressing climate change. From carbon tracking apps to smart energy grid optimization, participants will work on projects that have real environmental impact. Winning projects receive incubation support from EcoTech Alliance.

Prize Breakdown

$5,000 + 3-month incubation for 1st, $3,000 for 2nd, $1,500 for 3rd, $500 for best green UI/UX

Rules & Guidelines

Projects must have a demonstrable positive environmental impact. Open source submissions preferred. Teams must present a sustainability roadmap for their solution. Judging is based on impact, feasibility, and technical execution.

Google Earth Engine API, NOAA climate datasets, AWS Sustainability credits, IoT hardware kits for offline teams
